Who Is Marco Mizzau?

Marco Mizzau (born in Rome, Italy, on 27 December 1977) is an Italian senior executive and strategic advisor, Chairman of Blacktrace and Founding Partner of Mizzau & Partners, with over 26 years of experience in executive leadership, corporate strategy, private capital and the transformation of complex organisations. He advises private equity firms, institutional investors, boards of directors, entrepreneurs and executive management teams on strategy, governance, business growth, private capital, corporate transformation and value creation, with a particular focus on aligning industrial strategy, capital allocation and execution.

Executive Career

Throughout his career, Marco Mizzau has held senior executive positions across the public and private sectors. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Consip, Italy’s national public procurement company, wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Director General of Inarcassa, a major Italian institutional investor managing approximately €14 billion in assets; and Chief Operating Officer of Campus Bio-Medico in Rome, operating within an integrated healthcare, university and research ecosystem. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive experience at Accenture, Ernst & Young (EY), KPMG Consulting and Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian State Railways), working on corporate strategy, business transformation, organisational development and performance improvement for major corporations and complex organisations. His expertise spans private capital and financial services, technology and software, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, transportation and the public sector.
